Terms

Bookings can only be made online at least 90 minutes before requested time. For last minute table reservations please call 0874538260. Deposits are required for group weekend bookings.


1.  Patrons may be placed interchangeably between The Black Horse Inn lounge and Luso Restaurant. We will do our best to accommodate your preference but can’t guarantee it.


2. A confirmation email or message will be sent once message is confirmed - if no message received please contact us.


3. We welcome walk-ins but cannot guarantee availability.


4. For groups of 6 or more a deposit of €5 per person is required to secure the reservation. We cannot provisionally reserve tables without deposit, or at a maximum for 24 hours, depending on the detail. Where the numbers who arrive are fewer than the number booked, that portion of the deposit is forfeited. Groups are subject to separate terms - we cannot split checks by item but can split evenly.


5. Tables are held for a maximum of 15 minutes past the reservation time. After this period, the booking may be cancelled and any deposits paid forfeited.


6. For groups we have 3 main areas - the long bench in our restaurant, the lower area of our restaurant and the lounge of The Black Horse Inn. Groups greater than 8 people should be aware that in the lower area of the restaurant the group is split into 2 parallel sets of tables 2 metres apart. We cannot guarantee any one area over another.


7. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. For groups of 6 or more people, we generally require at least 1 weeks’ notice for cancellation, after which some portion of the deposit paid will be withheld, with the entire deposit withheld for cancellations on arrival date.


8. Standard dining times apply: Parties of 2 - 4 (1.5 hours) and parties of 5+ (2 hours). We can grant extensions based on availability but please confirm this in advance.


9. The restaurant will do its best to accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies but cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. Particularly, for gluten free requests, we can provide gluten free options but we don't recommend our restaurant for diners with coeliacs disease or severe intolerances as we operate in a high flour environment and it is impossible for us to fully guarantee zero gluten.


10. Special requests (e.g., high chairs, wheelchair access) should be mentioned at the time of booking.


11. We cannot split cheques by item (we can split evenly per person).


12. Outside food and beverages are not permitted other than drinks from The Black Horse Bar which are unavailable in Luso. We operate some table service to The Black Horse when quiet but patrons may be required to order and pay from there directly.


13. The restaurant reserves the right to modify booking policies at any time.


14. When there is live music planned, a €5 deposit per person is required. This is taken off the guest bill at the end of the night.


15. In case of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather, technical issues), bookings may be rescheduled or cancelled with notice.


By making a reservation, guests agree to these terms and conditions.
