The roast at the Bull are incredible. Service always urgent but calm. Brilliant!

Excellent!

Most disappointing on the whole, worst poured pint of Guinness I have ever been served! BBQ looks disgusting and staff poorly dressed and dirty looking, overall an awful experience which is a shame as it used to be a lovely place to go for food but now run by monkeys with poor hygiene.

Eating at the Bull is a pleasure: the atmosphere is warm and friendly and the service and food very good. It's a great place for a celebratory lunch.

A very good value set lunch menu which didn't economise on quality or quantity and catered for a coeliac in our party with no problem at all.

We all had roasts on Sunday and the food was amazing. So often roasts aren't great in pubs but these were great. The services was also really efficient.

We all enjoyed our meals overall. I had olives as I avoid fish and don’t like mint. They were good olives but I tend to think of them as a shared starter. Staff could be a little more welcoming and enthusiastic.

The Bull was halfway from Sussex and Malvern and so we met for lunch. The food was delicious. We both had beef and not a scrap was left. Service was friendly throughout and there was plenty of car parking which always helps. A lovely drive to get there and a delicious meal eaten. Thankyou

We were very fortunate to have a gift voucher for a meal for two at the Bull Inn which covered the majority costs. We were also lucky to sit in a lounge area with fireplace which gives a relaxed atmosphere, our first time in that space. The service is really friendly and polite, the staff know their food and drink and answer questions instinctively. The food is great, well thought out, well prepared well presented , it looks and smells appetising and that’s backed up by great flavours and textures. Is easy to clear out plates. The Bull Inn knows what it’s doing and does it really really well.

Welcoming and efficient staff, nothing too much trouble for them. Very generous portions and everything cooked to perfection. Looking forward to our next visit.

The best roast dinner around!

It was a last minute booking for Sunday roast… staff and service could not have been better, and the food was so freshly cooked and delicious .. I would recommend whole heartedly 😊

Terrific service and food was well prepared and enjoyable. Only criticism would be: it was very cold in the restaurant side of the bar and we all had to eat with our outside coats on. The bar side had a nice wood burner keeping the drinkers nice and warm but us diners were kept in the cold. Would still recommend for a good pub meal with excellent service from our waitress.

Overall, very enjoyable lunch, food was excellent except 3 of the starters were only Luke warm. Set menu offered a good choice and value for money. The only negative was we found the restaurant area quite chilly. A blazing log fire would have been very welcome. We found we had to keep our coats on during the meal. Would visit again but during summer time.

Lovely little stop gap for us. Friendly service and gorgeous open fires! Food was lovely and great portion sizes. Welcomed our dogs and made a fuss with treats and lots of water for them :)

Food was typical for a good pub restaurant, nicely presented with a good choice of dishes. However restaurant was very cold requiring outer coats to be kept on for warmth which made experience overall significantly less appealing. On this occasion we felt The Bull had not fully met expectations by not paying sufficient attention to the comfort of dinners in their restaurant.

Nice friendly welcome, comfortable seating, warming log fire and good food - what more could anyone want.
