A delightful Valentines evening. We enjoyed the food hugely, a well judged and well executed menu at a comfortable pace made for a great Saturday evening out. It’s uplifting to have a bright cheerful evening amidst a long bout of depressing weather.

Very good food in a proper pub (ate in the bar) - thoroughly recomend.

Gluten free food in abundance with NO compromise to taste whatsoever- a delightful young man serving us added to this experience- I only wish we lived closer to return on a regular basis but we will most definitely be returning when next in the area- thank you so much

Great Sunday lunch with friends. Fabulous roast potatoes and Cauliflower cheese as standard rather than having to order as a side. Meat was rather fatty which is why I only gave 4 stars instead of 5. Great service and lovely ambience.

Fabulous Sunday lunch which was so tasty with meat that melted in the mouth. Traditional country pub with very attentive and friendly staff. Very friendly landlady Ana. Fully deserved their Four in a Bed plaque.

Had a fabulous time here - perfect spot for two friends to catch up sitting in big chairs in front of the blazing fire before moving 3 steps to enjoy a delicious lunch in the dining area - staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive and the pub itself was quaint and characterful and beautifully done inside - highly recommend!

Excellent lunch at the Bull

I have been using the Bull to treat family and friends for the past 10 years since retirement and I have never had a Bad time the staff make you very welcome and are attentive to our every need.

For our first visit, we were very impressed with the meal overall. We gave a 4 star rating for the food, as one dish wasn't at its best (that being a ribeye steak) but it didn't ruin the experience. Our server was attentive, friendly and helpful. There were many good choices which was good, and it was thoroughly enjoyed. We will definitely be back in the future!

Great food as always. Lovely atmosphere

You managed our group of 6 inc two dogs perfectly and the food was well prepared and tasty. No complaints. The room was a little chilly as the kids playing outside did open and shut the doors quite a few times - sometimes leaving the door open. But it wouldn't stop us from coming back. Thank you.

A lovely Boxing Day lunch as a family of 7. The service was friendly and the pub welcoming. Food was great and good value. Thank you we will be back.

Lovely pub. Food was all fried. Would like to see a lot more fresh products used. 3 starters were all covered in batter and fried. My chicken burger looked like it came out of the freezer and was fried. Could have been a lots better. Underwhelmed. Service was good.

Disappointing that there were very few vegetables, especially a very small amount of cauliflower for two people.

Although we’re not local , it’s worth the drive to enjoy your fantastic sunday roast .This was our 4th visit in the last couple of months and the food has been consistently exceptional , the Bull roast is fantastic. I heard the chef tried a new method for the pork belly and honestly , it was like let’s butter , the best pork belly I’ve ever had ! The staff were as usual , were really friendly and attentive . Look forward to trying your xmas roast soon !
