Great food, great service, great offer with the Tableo service - we definitely ate too much!!

This place was just brilliant on all levels! The food was incredible, that staff were so kind and knowledgeable about the dishes and the restaurant is so cool and colourful. Our party of 8 were taken very good care of. We will be back!!

I have visited Maricarmen numerous times and it never disappoints. My recent visit was with a large group and I don’t think it works as well as smaller tables. Only one person offering food at a time meant many people were left waiting for long periods of time. The choice of food was limited to usual and seemed to be mainly chorizo based dishes and olives. However this experience wouldn’t put me off returning as the quality of the food is excellent and the staff are lovely, acknowledging 2 birthdays too - I would just stick to a small group.

What a find! The finest Spanish tapas I've had outside of the Basque region. Food is perfectly cooked to order & incredible value. The staff are friendly, attentive & knowledgeable, the wine is fantastic & reasonably priced & the ambiance relaxed - you just feel at home. The arroz negra is to die for, & try to leave room for a wonderful dessert. If you love authentic Spanish food then look no further.

Amazing tapas and drink selection, although the Pan tumaca tapa should have a bit less tomatoe so the serrano stand out more. And with large Latin parties, music could siwtch to a more festive/dancing atmosphere (venezuelan 90's and early 2000's pop merengue). Thanks.

We visited Maricarmen yesterday afternoon for my daughter’s birthday and we were a party of 7. When we arrived there was a very large family group with lots of children and babies already dining, the manager quickly realised that we were all adults and without even asking moved us to a different part of the restaurant. One of our group has a severe food allergy which they dealt with brilliantly, explaining what she could and could not eat as each tray of tapas came around. The chef also adapted a few of the dishes so that she was able to eat them. The food was delicious and the staff were very attentive and kind. Overall we had a great time. I will definitely be going back and would highly recommend if authentic tapas is your thing.

Maricarmen is Manchester best kept secret, a wonderland Tapas restaurant, the staff are exceptional and the food is awesome and authentically spanish.

Warm welcome, lovely staff. Very busy and they worked flat out but a wait of 30 mins for can of drink was too long; it came after we got server attention and asked. Good flavours in all dishes. Very good value. Would recommend.
