From the moment we arrived the service was friendly, and prompt. The food was exceptional. The battery on the fish was crispy, light and the fish (I had Hake) was flavoursome and flaky. The home made Tartar sauce was amazing. The chips were fluffy on the inside and crisp on the outside. We would definitely recommend if your in the area.

Knights have always been very good but they are even better. Not many places offer GF options but my fish was delicious. My only moan is, I'd have loved a piece of haddock.

Visited for dinner at 5pm on 21st August as a special occasion, husband had the cod & chip’s which was delicious, I had a child’s scampi & chip’s which wasn’t - chips were undercooked & scampi was overcooked - very disappointing as we have been before & the food was excellent.

I am not local to Glastonbury, (from W-s-M), I have been coming here on a fairly regular basis since 1985 as my ex-partner is from the town, never yet had a bad experience, mostly superb, but everywhere has inconsistencies now and again. Still regard it as the best chip shop I know and yes, I have been known to make the trip just to eat there. Excellent.

What can we say? Its GREAT!!!!!! BEST FISCH AND CHIPS EVER!!!

Yesterday was probably about my 10th visit to the restaurant and 100th?? or maybe even more over many years including takeaway meals and I'm afraid to say it was sub-par, the fish was very overcooked, a bit cardboard like, not inedible but really not that good. I actually mentioned it afterwards to the lovely waitress (maybe eastern European?) which is something I wouldn't usually do but I just felt that it warranted a mention as it rdefinitely wasn't up to scratch

Always first class, no stay in Glastonbury is complete without a fish and chips supper at Knights.

Perfect, treated my daughter and her partner to lunch. All dietary options were covered (vegetarian, vegan and meat eater). Comfortable dinning room and staff were extremely attentive. Thank you
