This is the first time we have been to Tang Dynasty this year. We were regulars but had a terrible experience on boxing day. We booked our usual downstairs window table in October but when we arrived this had been given to Wayne Rooney and his family. I understand it's nice to have these celebrities in but we had been every month for a year. We were ushered upstairs snd service was poor. Hence why we have waited 6 months to return. This time table food and service was very good and has helped redeem our last experience.

Food was promptly delivered and very nice, a good variety of food, atmosphere was great just what you would expect for a nice meal out.
Fantastic food and excellent service
Excellent restaurant we go to for all our celebrations. We have used the restaurant and booked private dining for a party and takeaway, and we are never disappointed.
Service and food excellent. However for two people with no alcohol just two soft drinks the bill was pricy. Staff were attentive, but in some instances too much so a 10% service charge on top of the bill is hefty too. Will return but not as often as we are all watching our pennies even though we live in Hale.

Fabulous food, service and ambience
Our first visit to the restaurant for my husbands birthday and it certainly won’t be the last - service was excellent very attentive and yet not over bearing the place was spotless and the food delicious we started to over order and our waitress very politely said why don’t you order 2 (fried rice) and then if you fe not enough we can very quickly bring you an other she was so right as portions were very generous- they brought out a surprise cake for my husband and sang happy birthday they also took a family picture and presented it to us as we were leaving in a beautiful frame as a gift - highly recommend

Experience let down by a very noisy table nearby and more expensive set meal than anticipated.
Our first time. We were made to feel very welcome by all the staff. Also funny as I was wearing a similar waistcoat to them which everybody found amusing. The food was excellent and so were the staff. We are pleased we have "at last" found a Chinese restaurant that we love,. We will be back.

Brilliant food and experience
We had the most amazing Mother’s Day meal at Tang Dynasty in Hale today! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was fantastic from start to finish. The staff were so friendly and really made the day feel special. Such a lovely touch as well – they gave every mum a beautiful bouquet of flowers, which was so thoughtful and made the experience even more memorable. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and the food was full of flavour. We’ll definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend for a special occasion or just a great meal out! 🌸

Amazing food, loads of vegetarian options which is great. The service was perfect, very attentive and the food and drinks came out quickly. The restaurant itself is beautiful. Fantastic evening, will definitely be back!
